Gangs in America

Gang is very dangerous to everyone in the community. "The gang is a group of people (mainly young men) bringing together protection and attribution awareness.The US Justice Ministry officially defines the youth gang as a group of young people involved in criminal acts" (Gang 1). In the United States, there are about 1 million gang members in the gang where more than 20,000 criminals are active. In addition, this group of about one million people is responsible for up to 80% of the crimes committed in our country.

Due to the economic downturn in the United States, the scale of the street gang is expanding. There are about 21,500 gangs in the United States and more than 731,000 active gang members ("organizational gangs"). Due to poor economic conditions, many people are unemployed and more Americans are driven into poverty. If you can not make enough money with your actual job, you may be a crime in the face of lack of money. This explains to some extent why the gang exists in poor urban areas. Not everyone who decides to participate in the gang is poor, but not all gang members are poor (Gardner 51). Poverty is attracting most young people in the United States, yet there are still many poor youths not belonging to the group. Gang brothers and sisters have a strong influence on their brothers and sisters and young people becoming members of the street gang and participating. Gang also provides a way to earn money, sometimes there are more. Poverty is one of the main reasons for young people and young people to join the street gang.
