Gangs Across America

An American gang throughout the gang is defined as a group of people using symbols that claim to have unique names, identifiable marks, territories or turf (Edgar 94). From the beginning of our country, gang was part of American culture. From a secret society like Freedom Clay, it has evolved into a violent street gang like scorpion and bloody. Gangs are growing rapidly and are rising rapidly. People are worried about gangs of the 19th century, but today's gangs are posing a greater threat (Edgar 91).

However, it did not stop shortly after World War II, and new groups such as motorcycles and prison gangs began to appear in the United States. From the early days, violence, members of the gang and diffusion have certainly increased, and the current situation is that all the American countries now need a street gang. (Valdez, 2000). However, it is not easy to identify problems with the activities of the street gang. This is primarily due to various definitions that let gang members and gang members distinguish in different ways. As a result, estimates of the actual number of street gangs and gang members in the US have fluctuated. However, the National Help Center (2005) statistics show the extent of the problem.

I reported several different gangs in the cities in the US, but here I am intimidating and in a country surpassing the street gang. The biggest one is MS - 13. At that time it was shocking to me that during my 15 years before my visit El Salvador had little street gang. MS-13 is mainly composed of Salvadoran, but many Honduras and Guatemalans claim to be true to this group. In order to understand how MS - 13 has grown into one of the most deadly gangs in the world, we must understand the role the United States played in the Central American countries over the past 40 years.

The prevalence of gang in Central America is often associated with casualties in post-conflict situations. The so-called northern Delta countries of Central America (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras) received gang-related violence by the notorious Malasar Battle Cha (MS 13) and the hand of Barrio 18 or 18 Street Gang (B 18). Meanwhile, neighboring Nicaragua is an "oasis of peace" and often is depicted as the poorest but safest country in Central America. But the image is much more complicated. First of all, the gang of Honduras can not be attributed to post-conflict circumstances because there was no civil war held over the past few decades. MS13 and B18 were not rampaged in Nicaragua, but that country is still part of a drug corridor facing America and can not escape from the drug cartel.
