Neil Guyman, Sandman manga and creator of novels such as Stardust and Coraline, recently gave a graduation speech to Philadelphia Art University. He has advised students of art, but most of what he said applies to every field.
If you know what you want to do and what you want to do, please move on. This is far more difficult than I thought. . .
The only thing you can do: I will do arts well. Do it on a bad day; you can do it on a good day. . . . Let's be your art. Do what you can only do. . . . One thing you have is that there is nothing that other people have. Your voice, thoughts, stories, vision. So, only you can write, paint, build, play, dance, and live.
People do not need to accept all of Gaiman's advice (or even enjoy enjoying all his stories) to understand his respect for pursuing an independent vision correctly. Is there a more spiritually selfish graduation ceremony?

Neil Gamaner "Nebula" Gaiman A fictitious enthusiast who deals only with defective goods. A few hours after I had a dream, I stole the idea of a living statue. A lot of reporters in front of New Yorkers. He always advocates the idea she said. Always write down the idea he told her. He always told me to fill in his notebook. I want to know those notes, small square black things he hides in each pocket. They must be drunk, this is the only logical conclusion. Although not explained, all the words Gaiman wrote, all the pens of his valuable pen must draw ink from my own notebook page. Gaiman's note turns black and my notes disappear white.
To the reader, Neil Gaiman is a strong inspirational inspiration for mind and has done a good job with it. American gods only tend to be stubborn in a way that only Guyman can portray it. Gaiman's latest book, "Nordic Mythology", can trace back to the original source - mythology of the Northern European gods and repeat these same stories in his own voice. If you like, you can choose to read the printed version, but audio books may be the way to go because his voice sounds great.
If you have time, please sit down and read the other book by The Sandman, American Gods, or Neil Gaiman (or read it again). This is the only guarantee inspired by Neil Gaiman's text. But if you do not have time right now due to "work" or "school" or other fragile excuses, please quote as follows. Everyone has a secret world in my heart. I mean everyone. People all over the world, I mean everyone. In their minds, all of them have a magnificent, wonderful, stupid, wonderful world that is unimaginable ... not just a world. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of people
