Everyone in modern society can freely use the term communication, including general people, scholars, and administrative practitioners. Communication is defined as the ability to exchange information and send and receive information, whether verbally or non-verbally. The communication function depends on how people have to decide their communication skills. This is called the main function and in some cases can include one, two, or three other auxiliary functions in the situation or location. For example, notifications, controls, persuasion, coordination and so on.
In this article I will explain how Kaepernick expresses the most basic aspects of communication. These aspects include the role of communication in rhetorical research. One of the communication functions Kaepernick applied to his protest was a tool aspect. Communication tools deal with words and behaviors that cause change and cause something to happen. Kaepernick did this through his gesture at the court. He called for change by protesting the American flag. By raising the flag, he obviously means something must be changed. Another function of his protest is to provide information. Kapnik wants to bring inequality and police atrocities into the country in order to inform people about the injustices occurring in the country. Moreover, the protest action is also exciting. Kaepernick's action also emphasizes the interactive function of communication
Nonverbal communication has four important functions. These functions can supplement, adjust, replace, or emphasize verbal information. In addition to functionality, there are many kinds of nonverbal communication. These different types include secondary language, body movement, facial expression, eye information, charm, clothes, body decoration, space and distance, touch, time, smell, and manners. In each case there is a cultural and common cultural change, and these changes are acceptable and unacceptable practices (Hybels & Weaver, 2007).
How does nonverbal communication have a major impact on our social environment and the whole communication process?
