I have the same feelings as the narrator of Alison Bechdel's "Fun Home", a graphic novel that Farr recommended as her four standard contemporary models. At Fun Home, the author met Ulysses at the university. She was confused about the relationship between her gender and her father. In the beginning she was suffering at Ulysses, more specifically Ulysses seminar. She tends to be absorbed in another "good" book on feminism and women's study. Finally, as the narrator looked back on the death of her father, she turned to Ulysses. She took advantage of Steven and Broome's relationship and learned about the complex history with her close father. She started looking at her life as a pursuit of Odyssey. I will sail from the challenge to the challenge without fear and I hope that someday she will be able to clear everything and go home.

Fun Home is a memoir of Alison Bechdel's picture of her growing life. An interesting house is a family funeral home where she and her brothers call her father. This is the first adult novel I have ever read. (And for adults, I am not an adult but a porn.) I was really surprised how I attracted it. I did not notice that letters could be defined in graphical form. I truly think that Allison must grow with these distant parents. She is suffering and is confused about her father's death.
