Hanno's perlus is in Byzantine's manuscript, but its manuscript dates from the 9th century to the 10th century Codex Heidelbergensis 398. The text of Fax Hanno was first published by Sigismund Gelenius and published by Basel in 1533. It was translated into English by Wilfred Schott and published by Hanno as Periplus. Carthagohanori 's Periperas is an explanation of the trip of the earliest existing discovery. It has been suspended from the original, obviously official document, in Temple II or Saturn in Carthage. Both Falconer and Bougainville agreed to mention it in the sixth century before the Christian era. Peripas is introduced in a couple of lines listing the decree of Carthage in terms of navigation and its purpose. About the same time, Hanno the Navigator was sent to explore the West Coast of Africa. His squid survived and was one of the earliest manuscripts to survive. The periplasm records the landmark, the port and the distance between them. This is a guide that other captains can follow. Hano's 60 vessels moved south of Africa's coast. He may have reached an island near the coast of Sierra Leone. Until Portuguese explorer, Henry Navigator, Henry derailed, there were no other West African coastal adventure records.
