Freshman Guidance Curriculum

The Leicester High School leadership unit develops and offers a comprehensive program to help freshmen enroll in high school. Freshmen concentrate on creating academic, personal, and professional goals. The counselor will provide group coaching and personal coaching to have students receive support and understand their strengths at school.

The Leicester High School mentoring program includes the following appropriate services for ninth grade students.

Les du Millrison, a counselor for Lac du Flambeau Public Scheool, has been using career coaching courses in development coaching sessions for seventh and eight graders. As part of the course, she joined the selected campus and visited seventh and S 'grades. After the survey was over, all 8 "grade classes visited the university campus, which was traditional at the end of the school year.

School mentoring program - this program includes structured courses designed to help students achieve the necessary abilities and to provide all students with knowledge and skills appropriate for their level of development . The school-led curriculum is conducted throughout the school curriculum and is systematically provided by professional school counselors and other professional educators in the classroom and group activities of K - 12. System support - System support includes establishing, maintaining, and strengthening management activities throughout the school's consulting program. These activities include professional development, consulting, collaboration, program management, and operation. Vocational counselors are committed to ongoing personal and professional development and are actively involved in specialized organizations that promote school counseling at the local, state and national level.

School mentoring program - Develop and provide structured curriculum courses to help each identified student achieve the desired social and academic outcomes. The counselor can implement a student development program designed to enhance students' understanding and sensitivity to special needs.
