Because this is a part of the world's superpower, it provides a degree of safety and wealth to them, and it becomes a potential third world country. Maybe, however, the sign of 'free Tibet' means free Tibet to get rid of their human rights deprivation situation.
Free Tibet believes that contact between Chinese people and democratic countries is beneficial for Tibet and China. The more we speak Chinese, we can reach the Chinese language. Free Tibet was written in all Confucius schools in the UK to help ensure that they provide balanced education about China and Tibet. If you want to contact schools in your area, please send courtesy polite letters or e-mail so that students can not understand the truth about Tibet in the Confucius classroom. Free Tibet has developed educational materials for the school and you can encourage them to use them.
The political hot spot of this year is Tibet problem. The "Free Tibet" Internet site needs a comprehensive boycott, but most other protestors seem to be satisfied with asking foreign government leaders to boycott at least the opening ceremony. To some extent, this indicates a significant recession from boycott's past appeal. It may represent some recognition of time and effort spent by athletes and it may represent recognition of China 's economic strength. But it reflects important changes in the way the Olympics are seen as a place of international politics.
Some of the most active political clubs on campus are centered around international careers. SPJP is focusing on spreading awareness of Tibetan struggle for free Tibetan students, mainly in apartheid in the Middle East. Our community seems to support and recognize the status of Americans in these international businesses. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I hope the Earlham community will oppose the unpopular culture that is spreading throughout the country as the dramatic change in this country has brought about an increase in immigrant rhetoric.
