There are few really amazing epics in Western literature. Among them, Gilgamesh's epic is by far the oldest. The standard version of epic a few centuries ago before Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. The story of Gilgamesh's behavior is much greater than that of the times, and may be the worship of Gilgamesh as from the ancient worship religion of around 2600 BC. But what does it mean to call Gilgamesh "epic"? The epic form itself can sometimes trace back to Homer and defines five common features for the epic: 1) There are significant countries or globally important heroes; 2) There is a huge canvas , One is a whole world or a larger environment 3) Plot includes fight including Superman's action and a long and difficult journey, 4) Gods and other supernatural creatures are included with interest, 5) There is a ceremonial performance aspect, a ritual style than ordinary words.
