Kate Chopin's short story "Storm" talks about the subject of adultery. The story took place at the beginning of the 20th century. There are two main characters, Calixta (wife) and Alcee (former lover). Alcee must evacuate from the storm in the house of Calixta, and those two will eventually fall in love, and Calixta's husband and son must wait for the storm at the local shop not. By doing so, Chopin hinted at the theme that adultery is natural and does not necessarily result in negative consequences.
