Shug and Celie are purple and there is a very deep relationship between Shug and Celie. The two of us will help each other and become really necessary. Both Celie and Shug are very suppressed. Celie is strained by lack of concern and lack of self-esteem. Shuge is fascinated by the image of others. This is one of the compassionate families' hobbies that she never really owned. Reference on page 125-6 indicates this.
Alice Walker said she did not think she was lesbian or bisexual, but she is not straight. Her most famous piece, The Color Purple, makes the relationship between two women Celie and Shug a winding story full of abuse, violence and resilience. Bruce singer Shug Avery used most of this novel and cultivated Xili and loved it. And finally helped to get rid of her husband who abused her. This novel by Funny Flag was made into a movie in 1991. This movie is beautiful, but this novel is more diverse, followed by the lives of southern women in the town of Whistle Stop in Alabama. The lesbian theme in the movie is only a hint, but Flagg's novel draws the relationship between Idgie and Ruth as overly romantic. If you like southern food, crying people, lesbians, please read this book.
The novel "purple" is about the hero Celie and her sister Nettie. Other roles are Celie and Nettie's stepfather, Celie's husband, Celie's sweetheart, Shug. It draws pictures of all characters, their physical and emotional attributes using detailed images. The theme of the whole novel is how people of certain races and sexes were abused in the 1940s. The hero's Celie is orally and physically abused by her stepfather. This indicates that her struggle is troubled, she becomes her own person, and gains independence. She discovered herself, discovered what about other people, and what they mean to her in certain aspects of life. My favorite character is Celie. Because readers can see the progress she has achieved in books, and I think that the power she found in her is exciting and encouraging.
