Frederick Douglas, An Abolitionist

During the slavery abolition in the United States many people died and many people devoted their lives to breaking slavery restraints. Without these contributors, slavery will become part of our life today, hundreds of years ago. An important element of the abolition of slavery is Frederick Douglas. This man could escape slavery and live as a free slave. Instead he will help abolish slavery as he wants others to experience what he can do.

All Olaudh Equiano, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglas are said to be abolishists. Equiano is the oldest of the three, and his work is a model of a slave tale. Douglas is very similar to Equianoe, they are all descriptive. Lincoln is different because he is the only white of the three. Equiano sold slave goods from Nigeria at the age of 12. His sister was taken away at the same time. Equiano's name was changed when he passed the American master. One of the names he was given was Gustavus Vassa.
