The United States is a country based on the basic principles of freedom and freedom. This usually makes it the desired land, and you can do anything as long as you want someone to work for it. Unfortunately, this idea does not necessarily apply. Frederick Douglas born on slavery did not have the above advantages of freedom, freedom, and social mobility. He is a very intelligent person, but he is persecuted and enslaved for the skin color.
Frederick Douglas was one of the most important leaders of the abolishment movement that struggled to end American slavery in the decades before the Civil War. The American Anti Slavery Association invited Douglas to attend a lecture as a talented speaker and was recognized as one of the first black spokespersons in the United States. When he promoted his autobiography in 1845 he won a worldwide reputation. Two years later, he started publishing anti-slavery articles called "North Star". During the Civil War, Douglas served as a consultant to President Abraham Lincoln and had difficulty in passing a constitutional amendment that guarantees the voting rights of black people and freedom of citizens. Douglas provides a strong voice to human rights in American history and is still respected today for his contribution to racial injustice.
Black Americans are great and brave soldiers. They serve very well to Allied forces and participate in numerous fights at the very difficult places they face. I would like to quote Frederic Douglas for the black who serve the country of America: "A black man once got a brass letter to him, he let his button and him a rifle. Even if there are bullets in the pocket, the power to deny that he acquired citizenship in the United States is not on the planet. "
When he arrived in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Frederick Douglas escaped from slavery and finally ended. Douglas was convinced that the slave owner could not take slaves from Nathan Johnson's New Bedford. The arrival of Johnson had a great influence on Douglas' s life. Johnson is a former worker who is an old self and citizen of Massachusetts State. Through contact with government officials, he got Douglas' s citizenship certificate and can confirm that he is now a citizen of New Bedford and he is going to take the state to Massachusetts
