Franz Kafka's Use of Humor

Franz Kafka's humor was born in Bohemia, Prague on July 3, 1883 and was recognized as one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. His work is called "cloudy, mysterious, inexplicable" (Oates ix). Most people have heard the word Kafkan or Kafkaesque, but there is little evidence to think of a dark and wonderful story in our known reality. But what about Kafka's sense of humor? I personally laughed several times while I was reading Amerika from Kafka. These humorous parts are part of Kafka plan or mere accident.
