Frankenstein with Earnest

I just quit my father's funeral. I want to know where my brother Victor is. He did not attend the funeral; I want to know whether he is just at home. Why will he miss our father's funeral? At the beginning of Mary Shirley's "Frankenstein", when Victor talked about his childhood, he talked about two things: his family and his love for science.
