Frank Lloyd Wright was born in 1867 in the rural town light of Frank Lincoln in the center of Richland, Wisconsin. His father, William Carrylight (1825-1904), was a speaker, a music teacher, an occasional lawyer and a patrol minister. William was the head of a school in Richland County, the mother of Light, Anna Lloyd Jones (1838/39 - 1923) met William Carrylight during his tenure as a county school teacher. William Wright was originally from Massachusetts State and was a pastor of Baptist but later joined the monotheistic creed of his wife's family.
