Frank Jackson and Physicalism

Frank Jackson and physicist Frank Jackson started his article by writing an article about what he thought was a fatal flaw of physics. He wrote a story about a girl named Mary who grew up in a black and white room. In this room, Mary was taught all knowledge about the material world. The only problem was she did not know anything about the color outside the room, as it was only for her to learn black and white from the media. After learning all about the material world, she got the opportunity to see the color.

His argument is called knowledge controversy and is based on super scientists named Mary (Jackson, 1982).
