Frances Perkins

Frances (Fannie) Perkins is a wonderful person representing a strong image of women's race. She is the first female minister in America. Francis Perkins is the most influential person in American history, as she may not play a role in the US government unless she is the first female minister in the United States. In the 1840s, the Perkins family worked at brick factories and they became rich in a short period of time. Because many companies were closed and acquired, wealth did not last long.

Frances Perkins (1882 - 1965) After graduating from university, Frances Perkins received a master's degree in economics. From 1912 she worked in various positions of New York State Government until she was appointed Minister of Labor. She is a strong consumer and worker, especially professional women and children. Mary McLeod Bethune is a teacher concentrating on improving educational opportunities for African Americans. Bethune served as a special advisor to Roosevelt's ethnic minority problems. As director of the black people issue of the National Youth Administration Bureau, Bethune was the first black woman to lead the Fed.

Francis Perkins was the first woman to be appointed as a member of the cabinet. Perkins graduated from Mount Holyoke University and witnessed the work of the triangle shirt West plant, where he continued to lead the fight against the Great Depression as the Minister of Labor. Perkins worked for 12 years (longer than any other labor minister), 1 hour 'social security law' and chief architect of federal minimum wage. She is also responsible for enacting regulations concerning child labor and unemployment insurance.

On April 10, 1880, Francis Perkins was born in Funny Collier Perkins of Boston. She became the first female member of the Presidential Office of the United States of America and served as the Minister of Labor for President Franklin Roosevelt.
