France

France is a beautiful and attractive country full of art, culture and important historical background. It is located in the center of Europe and sometimes called "hexagon" from its shape. It is the largest country in Western Europe and the area is about 211,200 square miles. There are four waters around the French coastline, such as the North Sea, the English Channel, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic Ocean. The capital of France is Paris located on the bank of the Seine.

New France (French: Nouvelle-France) is a French colony in North America, was surveyed by Jacques Cartier in 1534 and ended in New France with England and Spain. According to the Paris Convention (1763) in 1763. At the peak of 1712 (before the Utrecht Convention), the territory of New France (also known as the French North American Empire or Royal New France) consisted of five colonies each with its own government. The most developed colonies are divided into Quebec, Trois Rivières, Montreal (which extends southward from Illinois before 1717), Hudson Bay, Arkadi in the northeastern, and Newfoundland and Louisiana. (It extends north through Illinois state since 1717); therefore it includes Canadian prairie from Newfoundland, Hudson Bay to the Gulf of Mexico, and all five Great Lakes in North America.

The French were the first people to start exploring and colonization in Canada in the mid-15th century. They called the area "New France" of the colonial era. France dominates the majority of the eastern part of Canada. There are five colonies in 'New France'. The biggest one is Canada, divided into regions of Quebec, Montreal and Trois Rivières. British people began to colonize North America in the late 16th century. Gradually, through the 18th century the British began to acquire the territory of French colonies from France. After the war between France and India, Britain and Spain acquired the entire territory of France in Canada through the Paris Convention of 1763.
