Forced Labor in China

"You should not rely on the labor of children to put food on the table, nor should you be forced to bring it up by hand" (Hilda Solis - Ministry of Labor). Labor is not only compelled to work, but also you will be enslaved by the workers. The only aspect covered in Article 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is arbitrary limitation of low wages against harsh labor, or any mandatory daily labor style. "Everyone has the right to work, the choice of free employment, fair and favorable working conditions, and the right to prevent unemployment.

Outside China, it has not received much attention. There are few international attention. Due to the implementation of investigations in China and other series of human rights issues in the context of China many human rights organizations do not prioritize contemporary slavery forced labor in China. For similar reasons anti-slavery organizations are focusing more on trafficking than forced labor. The Department of Labor depends almost completely on Chinese resources for 10 years in the widely cited forced labor production list. In the world slavery index, attention-gathering initiatives provide countries with estimates of contemporary slavery.

As we all know, China began with cheap labor and won the name "factory in the world". Along with the recession in recent years, China wants to complete the transition from labor conditions to innovation leaders such as Japan and the United States. Unfortunately, Chinese companies are not cool. From start-ups to listed companies, most of them lack innovation. Startups of major unicorn such as Didi, Meituan, Renren, etc have copied Uber, Groupon, Facebook from the beginning. Some small and medium enterprises do not have a research department

Twenty years ago, ordinary people believed China's main economic competitive advantage lies in its huge and cheap labor. Together with rising labor costs and excellent infrastructure in traditional manufacturing industry, China is an attractive choice for companies that require unskilled, semi-skilled labor at home and abroad. As in China, the labor market in China is rapidly changing. Over the past 10 years, wages in China have risen sharply year on year. For this reason, for other reasons, few companies think that China is preferred as a destination for offshoring. But this does not tell us what happened and why China's labor market has happened.
