For the Love of One's Nation

For the love of the country, this country is painted red, white and blue, and the national anthem is heard nationwide. Every place you see will see American flags posted in the front garden, or flags hanging on the windows. Supermarkets are open 24 hours a day, but many shops are closed. Whether in a big city or a small town, people were wearing red, white and blue lining along the street.

What happens suddenly when I hear the word love? Many people think about romantic love when people hear the word love. There are many other explanations about the word love, such as loving your neighbor, loving the country, loving God. People need to avoid thinking about as important as love, therefore superficial. John Donne's "The Canonization" and "The Sun Rising" both use a metaphor to deal with the nature of love and whether it is truly magical. Dorn's "Sunrise" is focused on romantic love, but his poem "Classicization" has many aspects of love, such as being consumed by love, dying by love, and being born again through love I will explore.

Like other social identities, the national identity creates a positive emotion such as pride and love for the country, and a feeling of obligation to other citizens. Socialization of national identity such as social self-esteem and citizen's expertise will help to promote harmony among countries. In the United States, for example, by integrating various ethnic groups as Americans' overall identity, people tend to unite through American pride and common emotions, thus alleviating ethnic conflicts.
