The commercial business of Flagler and Plant provides the foundation for making Florida a destination for health, tourism and land ownership. Prior to Flagler and Plant's contribution, Florida was one of the most difficult states of the US economy. In 1870, the population of Florida was one of the smallest in the United States compared to the other states in the east of the Mississippi River. After building a railroad in Florida it was promoted as a place for leisure, or as a Tropic of Cancer by many people (Knight, 2013). Flagler and factory entrepreneurial efforts are very important to make Florida, which boasts over 90% of the world's economies one of the largest states in the United States (Henry Morrison Flagler Museum).

The more famous Henry Flagler is regarded as the fact of "," of Henry Plant, who first came to Florida for his wife 's health in 1853, and Henry Fo, his friendly rival You should.
