Foils In Hamlet

Many writers use foils to better explain the nature of characters. Foil is a compliment, but is a contrasting character with the protagonist. By using foil, readers can better understand the main character through dialogue of foil. In Shakespeare's "Hamlet", I realized that Prince Hamlet was defeated by many characters. The gold leaf represents the difference of Hamlet respectively. One of such foils in this play is undoubtedly the son of Polonius, Rarthes. There are several ways to reflect the character of Hamlet, the revenge all of them are seeking, the anger they all have, and the fact that they all feel sorrow for Ophelia's death.
