Fluent in the Language of Food

Experience in cooking and consumption of food always promotes a kind of communication. Even without words, food provides information about individual religion, lifestyle, wealth, and culture. In Babette's Feast and Eat Drink Man women, the experience of this meal mainly concerns how the characters interact with each other, and will always collect everyone. In each movie, communication is centered on consumption or cooking of food. With the help of Babette (sometimes not necessary), Martine and Philippa are actually beginning to realize how good food provides nutrition to the body and mind and evolves from their fatigue.

Another woman who is fluent in food and body language is Joanne. Joan's obsessive diet is related to her desire to increase her weight. Her size is intentional and physical resistance to the patriarchal femininity. In Joan's fat, Chernin believes that "we can read various hostility and many mental sufferings" (72). Joan's pain was evident when she had sexual desire for the first time after dramatic weight loss. Her fat means "never develop the fear of an ordinary woman"; it gives her a meaty armor: "I am not as aggressive as men, but shy and elusive creatures I am anxious about my approach "(140). However, her physical loss exposes her to sexual harassment and looks at her 'unfamiliar man' like a dog watching a fire tap (123). Joan's response to these struggles is the desire to get fat again.

Bilingual equally proficient in both languages ​​(measured by equipment and overall accuracy) rarely uses both languages ​​fluently in all topics. Functional allocation is usually not redundant, it is imbalanced and complementary (Fishman et al., 1971, MacSwan, 1999: 30). The definition of transcoding is greatly different for researchers. "Code" is often used as a synonym for "language". While there is some discussion at the moment, Jacobson distinguishes between these two terms and claims that languages ​​include code rather than code (Jakobson 1971) Some people argue that transcoding is non-dominant I think that it is to insert the whole discourse between sentences in a language (Dahl, Rice et al., 2010). "Borrowed" usually means inserting a word or phrase into a sentence while maintaining the grammar of the matrix language.

This is difficult to answer. To be fluent fluently means to get used to the language, to understand most of what is being said, and to talk about various topics easily. The problem is that even non-fluent, non-native speakers almost always have what we feel uncomfortable, what I miss, I have something to say. These events are more like what is happening than us. They arouse our confidence and even make us feel we are not fluent even in most cases. So now I think that we can be said to be fluent if at least three people say we are fluent.
