Throughout the history of the United States there are many historical figures that are responsible for or part of the gradual change in our country. From the early 1900s to the middle of the year, the United States was separated and African-Americans were considered second-class citizens. In the mid 1900s, now known as the civil rights movement, there were many different people who helped teach apartheid in the United States. Among the historical figures whose names are synonymous with the civil rights movement are political activist Martin Luther King, National Association Med Gate for the progress of colored people, Malcolm Baptist Rosa and general citizen Rosa
Jack Roosevelt was born in a sleepy southern town near the border with Florida, Cairo, Georgia on January 31, 1919. Jackie is the youngest of five children, four boys and one girl born in poor tenant farmers Jerry and Mary Robinson. Jackie Robinson abandoned his family six months after Jackie was born. When Jackie was 14 months old in 1920, Marie Robinson was a powerful and devout religious woman who moved a struggling family to Pasadena, California by train. She plays a role as a family supporting her family; the remains of her working family's kitchen often make their daily diet.
Jackie Robinson is the fifth child born to tenant parents Jerry Robinson and Marie McGlyf Robinson of Cairo, Georgia. His ancestor was a slave of the same property that Jackie's parents brought up. When Jackie was six months old, Jerry left his family to go to Texas to find a job, he promised to send his family if he calmed down. But Jerry Robinson never went back. (In 1921, Mallie learned that Jerry died, but could not confirm this rumor.) After trying to make the farm independent, Mallie realized that this was impossible . She needs to find another way to feed her family, but I feel that staying in Georgia is no longer safe. In the summer of 1919, especially in the southeastern states, violent racial riots and black lynches occurred. Looking for a more lenient environment, Mary and some of her relatives gathered their money to buy a train ticket.
