First Chair in Band? Not So Much

I like sports and bands, but my view of these two is quite different. Sports are easy for me, because the band did not come to me at all.

I want to become a member of the band. I think that it is very musical. But in the last six years, you hear what I say saying you are listening to me

The band is very humble. I worked harder thanks to the band. Like other extracurricular activities, the band scares me - especially when we "challenge" to win the new president.

You are the best when you are sitting in the first chair. My two sisters were sitting in the chair while playing the flute. My older brother was sitting in the first chair while playing baritone. I used to work at Cloud Nine, I won the challenge and became part of the second part, this is about the chairman.

So, a few months ago, when I went to a junior high school band concert and happened to ask our young friends what kind of "chair" he was, I remembered my interest.

The students said that I had no chair. Clearly, the general philosophy of this school says, "I do not like being told that humans are always acting like any other people.

The first chair in the orchestra or band has a lot of power: after the conductor, the other members of the orchestra look for clues to music and performance in the first chair. Therefore, the position of the first chair is usually a skilled and experienced musician enough to continue the work of the group. If you are keen to promote yourself in music, you may be interested in becoming the first chair, but that is not easy. Your best bet is to practice and hone your leadership style to become a reliable member of your ensemble and prepare.
