Fiorello LaGuardia

Fiorello LaGuardia Fiorello LaGuardia was born on 11th December 1882 with New York immigrants of Italian and Jewish families. From 1945 to 1945 he served as Mayor of New York. He is considered one of the mayors who redefined the politics of New York City. Prior to serving as mayor, Fiorello had a long career in politics. After graduating from New York University law school in 1910, LaGuardia practiced and was appointed proxy attorney general. He is also a Republican in Congress.

Fiorello LaGuardia (1882 - 1947) was nationally recognized as a dynamic mayor of New York City during three terms (1934 - 1945). Previously, LaGuardia participated in the term of the sixth term as Republican national representative of the US Congress. Known as "small flower", LaGuardia has a reputation as a clean, diligent and humanitarian manager. John O. Pastore (1912 -) was the first Italian-American elected to the provincial governor (Rhode Island, 1945). In 1950, he represented the state of the United States Senate. Geraldine Ferraro (1935-) is the first American woman nominated as a vice president by a major party when it was elected with the Democratic presidential candidate Walter Mondale in 1984. Mario Cuomo (1932 -) was elected New York State Governor in 1982 and has been reelected twice since then.

He cooperated with Robert Moses to make some of the most beautiful parks in the city and provided Eden withdrawing from city life to New Yorkers. Laguardia plays its part and can give power to others
