Hello and welcome to our medical billing and coding series. On this website we are watching a video lecture on all aspects of medical coding and billing fields. You will learn about coding and billing schools, and how to start your own coding and billing practices. I will explain various code sets and how to use them.

I divided the course into six parts. The first part will introduce the general topics of medical billing and coding. The second part explains its practice and explains the basics of the medical coding process.

In the third part, we will focus on medical expenses. You will learn about the billing process and relationships with health insurance payer, Medicare and Medicaid, and other healthcare industries.

In Part 4, you apply what you have learned and solve some real problems in coding and billing. In this section we will describe in detail what works as a coder or book keeper.

In the fifth part, we will help you prepare for American Professional Code Association Professional Coder certification.

Finally, the sixth part introduces some of the next steps, including where to go to school, where to get certified, how to avoid online fraud.

Even if you watch all the videos on this site, you can not prepare to take the exam as an accredited medical bookkeeper or coder. In order to understand the details of these fields and to prepare for the exam, it is necessary to take courses at numerous schools and take training programs throughout the country.
