Fighting Over One Hundred Years for Modernism

Oscar Niemeyer attracted generations of architect's attention; he is considered an important element in modern architecture. He pushed the limits and made modernity a new concept. Oscar Niemeyer was not born under the name he knew well, he shortened his name. He was born in 8 Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida Niemeyer Soares Filho. He was born on 15th December 1907 and lived nearly 105 years, but died ten days before the birthday of December 5th, 2012. 2 Niemeyer was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro.

"Modernity" in philosophy actually means what happened in the recent century. In fact, the impact of philosophers on society is so subtle that it usually takes at least 100 years to judge whether a philosopher is already important enough to influence it. The era of contemporary western philosophy may have begun with the Enlightenment that people began to question in new ways in many areas. In the 17th century, the doctor William Harvey began to open the body to see what is inside - and the reality is completely different from Aristotle and the philosophy of humanities in humanity.

Until the 17 th century, there was nothing new in philosophy during the first 150 or 200 years of the modern world. During that period it included the restoration of the Greek philosophy and the replacement of the medieval tradition. Sometimes, this is an era when the West went to school for the 2nd century, and in ancient Greece the school relaunched the popularity of the ancient world. Of course, there are still many theologians and scholars, but their time is gradually increasing.

Unresolved issues in the discourse of all modern intellectuals of the Western countries include the basis of all knowledge and existence. A wonderful project from the past 200 to 300 years sometimes called "modern" has in many ways gave way to "postmodern". Modernism claims to at least understand things objectively in principle; Postmodern incorporates ruthless and suspicious understanding of all of these claims. In this context, it means that modernism is claiming to have a real world that is independent of intellectuals. Postmodern destroys this claim; we left a potential intellectual bias.
