Field trips are a common feature in many pre-school and school-age childcare programs. Field trips can be as easy as walking around a block, or as complex as a bus trip to a distance. Children may be asked to look at what they usually see in their new eyes, or they may have the opportunity to see something they have never been exposed before. The idea of ​​the purpose of a field trip is as diverse as the type of infant education program that exists. Our child care center is in the academic building of the small liberal arts college located in the rural area of ​​Central Ohio and East Ohio. The Summer Child Care program has weekly field trips related to the target unit. Children may go to neighboring business district, fire department, or other places within walking distance from the center.

Field trips provide students with an educational experience far from the official school environment. Popular field trip sites include zoos, nature centers, community institutions such as fire departments and hospitals, government agencies, local companies, science museums, and so on. Excursions not only provide other educational opportunities for children, but they can also benefit the community if they contain some type of community service. Students visiting various educational facilities are more practical and interactive than studying at school. For example, science museums often have an exhibit that children can touch to help them understand the materials they cover. In zoos, nature centers and botanical gardens, we introduce children close to animals and plant life. There are also places where children can touch the display, such as zoos and interactive computer programs.

Contrary to popular beliefs, Girl Scouts did a lot if not all of the things the Boy Scouts did.
