The method used in this study was field observation. On-site observation means to conduct an investigation to find out what people are doing and what they are saying. When you do other research, you will focus on the theory, but when you do an outdoor observation, you are the community in which your theme is located, the school where they are, and they live We will pay more attention to the community. There are two methods for inductive methods and deductive methods in field observation. Induction techniques mean that observers do not focus on theory, but create a theory after doing research.
On-site observation is a way to observe "real" locations and situations such as workplaces and families. These are particularly useful if you do not know the reason for "wasting" energy behavior. Field observation helps to understand people's behavior, customs, needs, and social relationships in their environment. On-site observations can provide you specific information as you do not have to rely on verbal explanations of the situation, but you can see it with your own eyes ! If observation on site is successful, we can provide many new ideas and valuable knowledge bases for the project.
When I first participated in the observation, I always wrote the field notes immediately after observing the participants and even wrote the records through the observation process. Before leaving the site, I actually completed the field notes. But I still have a few things I want to remember. One of the things we learned through the workshop is the usefulness of current technology in live notes. It was very useful for me to take pictures and videos and simply record sounds when I was involved in observation. This will help you consider the details you may not have noticed before and pay attention. This allows you to concentrate more on what you can not record with the current technology. For example, in our studio we got 360 pictures, audio and video to write live notes. Apart from things you can not see or hear, these are useful for ethnologists. what is that?
