In life, it is necessary to have an illusion. Without it, life will be boring. If it is not a dream, life will be different from that. Because they are the driving force behind human progress. This is what Jorge Luis Borges is trying to explain to the reader in the book "Ficiones". In many readings these fantasies show a realistic and fictitious theme that is an attractive theme, as fantasy needs to achieve its objective at some point.
A few months ago, I bought Ficciones from Jorge Luis Borges as I got interested myself. I do not know almost anything about Borges and his work, but this book has a strange charm. This feeling of being attracted to something without understanding what it is or why it will increase the collection of mysterious short stories to my Borges. From translator's introduction, I can see better. When Anthony Kerrigan called the work of Borges "international literary metaphor", somehow it was not possible to evoke the trust of the reader, Borges pointed out "It does not avoid meaningless truth." After reading this article, I only have to feel driving. Fortunately, Kerrigan's man Borgh said, "I have met all religions ... I know Madrid, Paris, Geneva ... I have read all the books."
In other words, I reconstruct this subject as a book I would like to read again. This book will be a novel by Jorge Luis Borges (Original Ficiones, Spanish) (1944). First of all, that is a small story. Therefore, it is easy to read. Secondly, and more importantly, these stories constitute a deep knowledge to be reviewed from time to time. The novel is one of those books that keeps you brain-brained, some of which are very complex and grow your brain. I must mention the Babel Library (the first La Biblioteca de Babel), and a short story is about libraries containing all the possibilities of the world. It includes all books and all combinations of all words. Therefore, any combination of texts will exist. Many books make no sense, but even the rest of the book represents all knowledge. When I read this story, I was dizzy.
