Ferenc Farkas

Ferenc Farkas Ferenc Farkas was born in Nagykanizsa, Hungary in December 1905. He studied the composing of Albert Sikós and LeóWeiner at the Budapest Conservatory and continued his study of Ottorino Respighi at the Santa Cecilia Academia in Rome. Ferenc Farkas was a composer professor of the Kolozsvár Conservatory from 1941 to 1944 and served as the director last year. In 1949, Fakas was appointed a professor of composition at the Budapest Conservatory, and this position continued until 1975.
