This work will start investigating the relevance of feminist methods to social work in today's society. It first examines the various types of feminism that exist in society. It will then follow and emphasize the emergence of feminism in society. In this article, we will describe in detail the different kinds of methods feminists are adopting in the field of social work. It will discuss the impact these methods have on society, especially women. According to Hux (2000) cited by Constantine and Dukelov (2009: 141), "Feminism is a campaign to end gender discrimination, sexual exploitation and oppression."
There are three methods of feminist epistemology, feminist empathism, feminist stance, and feminist postmodern. Feminist's empiricism believes that traditional methods of acquiring knowledge through social science are still effective, but in order to fully acquire true knowledge it is necessary to eliminate gender bias (Travers , 2010, p. 26).
