Traditionally, there is little research or interest in the influence of female crime in modern society. In addition, the juvenile crime rate is rising, which is irrelevant to the survey or information of female juvenile offenders. Generally, the crime rate of female offenders has increased since the 1990s. More and more young women are also harming higher percentages. In the 1996 US Department of Justice report, the number of young women arrested has doubled between 1989 and 1993.

How is the girl? As women's participation in the juvenile justice system continues to develop, this problem can not be ignored. Between 1992 and 1996, the number of young women arrested for violent crime index increased by 25% and the number of male teenagers arrested for the same crime did not increase. In 1996, the law enforcement agency arrested 723,000 young women. Regardless of male or female, most of the boys arrested did not commit serious or violent crimes, but committed a property crime or the crime of the person himself. Even violent juvenile offenders rarely specialize in crimes against people. They may also be accompanied by serious property or drug-related crimes. As shown in Figure 2, the percentage of adolescents in arrest of all property crime (33%) is much higher than arrest of violent crime (18%) or drug arrest (8%). 3 In 1992 boys showed the highest arrest rate compared to adults, arson (49%), vandalism (45%), car theft (44%). The arrest rate of juvenile property charges in 1992 was five times that of juvenile violent crime.
