Eric K. Silverman wrote that female genitomy challenges cultural relativism and universalism. People who protect women's genitals believe that if the West imposes views on other cultures it is a form of new colonialism and believe that the actions of people trying to eliminate it are protection of human rights I believe that. Indeed, there are many cultures in the world, and in the era of colonialism many cultures were suppressed. It is impossible to prove that their culture gives the power to change other cultures "higher" or "better" than other cultures.

Many of us have never heard of female genitectomy before this story happens ... A woman in the general population has been facing discrimination for many years. In recent history, women are beginning to claim freedom and independence from tradition for men across generations. In developed countries, discrimination against women is decreasing, but sometimes even serious human rights violations have occurred in Africa, the Middle East, and sometimes even in other developed countries such as the US and the north.
