The FEI World Equestrian Competition is the main international tournament of equestrian competition and it is managed by FEIdération Equestre Internationale (FEI). Since 1990, these competitions have been held every four years. Prior to that year, all of the ten fields of FEI usually held separate tournaments in different countries. The modern WEG has been running for more than two weeks, like the Olympic Games, this position has moved all over the world. The riders and horses participating in the WEG competition go through a rigorous selection process, and each participating country sends teams to express themselves through competition, making it the best country in each field. At the 2010 Olympics, there were 800 people from 57 countries and their horses.

The FEI World Equestrian Games ™ is held every four years and is located in the middle of the Olympic cycle, where eight Equestrian World Championship level events are combined in a fixed position. Also, through the event, shows and exhibitions of equestrian events will be held.
