Philippines, Manila - When going to work on Sunday, workers will again enjoy additional wages. The holiday was announced to mark the 32nd anniversary of the EDSA People's Revolution
The Ministry of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ordered the employer yesterday to pay an employer a vacation on February 25.
Sylvester Bello III Labor Minister said, according to the regulations, workers will raise their salary by 30% in the first 8 hours of work.
"If the working hours are over 8 hours, the workers need to pay 30% of the hourly wages," Bello pointed out.
Mr. Bello said that work done on a special day of workday should pay an additional 50% of the first 8 hours of the day's fee.
Workers claim an additional fee of 30% per hour over 8 hours on a special day on workers' holidays.
However, Vero stated that the principle that "there is neither work nor wages" applies to people who choose not to go to work or enjoy holidays.

The People's Power Revolution (also referred to as the EDSA Revolution and the 1986 Philippine Revolution or EDSA 1986) was a series of popular demonstrations in the Philippines held in Manila mainly from February 22 to 25, 1986. Civilian resistance to regime violence and ongoing campaign against suspicion of election fraud. The nonviolent revolution brought the end of dictator Ferdinand Marcos's 21-year totalist rule, and the recovery of democracy in the Philippines.
Between February 22 and 25, 1986, the 1986 EDSA People's Revolution will continue to shock Batsu Akino. Thousands of people gathered at the camp of Aginaldo and responded to the call for an archbishop Cardinal Cardinals' guilt to protect soldiers who were defeated by the Marcos dictatorship. "I ask you to support General Mr. Enrile and General Ramos, if you want, you can give them food. They are our friends," Archbishop of Manila said to Freitas I said to the radio. Whenever a Marcos dictator sent an army to kill people, it seemed that there would be another miracle. Decades of corruption, tyranny and extensive fraud during the election period are irritated and the Filipinos have decidedly opposed tear gas and tanks. When General Artemio Tadiya led the marine soldiers to tank to attack rebel soldiers, people formed human obstacles and confined them in the bay.
In the Philippines, after two decades of dictatorship regime, President of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos resigned from the President and replaced Corazon Aquino with the People's People revolution from February 22 to 25, 1986. Some people think this is a peaceful revolution. In fact, the Philippine Army issued an order to dissolve the crowd of EDSA (the main avenue in Metro Manila Area). On 17th October 1989, the Roma Prieta earthquake hit the San Francisco Bay Area in the third round of the 1989 World Series, which attracted worldwide attention. In San Francisco, California, highway and buildings were severely damaged, natural gas fires were intense, 65 people were killed and thousands were injured. The cost of loss totaled $ 13 billion (1989)
