Fear of Polio

Fear of unknown genetically modified products Today 's parents and children may not have the terrible polio memories that influenced young people and the elderly from the 1930' s to the 1950 's. Primary school students and their parents are afraid of polio because of the nuclear bomb attack on the United States. When polio vaccines were discovered, people throughout the United States were vaccinated. Still, there are still a lot of people who do not trust doctors and do not want to use needles - and even those who are worried that vaccines will bring polio to children.

In the 1950s polio fear "Polio" has been the rule of terrorists for decades in this country. But unless you were born before 1955, polio seems to be another short-lived illness that has not existed for years. People born before 1955 remember that they are very afraid of this terrible disease. Illness can not be healed, there is no clear cause, it makes it even worse. People do everything they did in the past to prevent the spread of disease like quarantine, but these strategies seem to never work.

Polio has been considered as one of the most feared diseases in the United States. Before the emergence of polio vaccine in the early 1950s, polio epidemic has been told that more than 15,000 mites have occurred annually in the United States. After the introduction of the vaccine in 1955 and 1963, the number of polio cases rapidly decreased to less than 100 in the 1960s, but in the 1970s it was less than 10 people. Since 1979 there were no cases of wild-type polio in the United States. The last case of wild-type polio was introduced in 1993. However, polio continues to be a threat to the rest of the world, and is easily brought to the United States from countries where wild polioviruses are prevalent. At least 40 polio free countries have been affected overseas travel over the past 40 years

I will take polio as an example. Polio was once the most terrible disease in the United States, and caused death and paralysis across the country. Because of vaccination, the United States has not developed polio since 1979. However, Afghanistan and Pakistan still have a small amount of polio and the threat to your child may be mere escape. In the United States, there are many other diseases that can be prevented with vaccines, such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, and so on. To date, over 150 children died of influenza during the flu season. Recovery of measles has been seen over the past few years. As early as 2014, 667 cases of measles occurred in 27 states. In 2015, there were 147 outbreaks in another large-scale multipurpose related to the California amusement park. Recently, due to the outbreak of Minnesota, more than a dozen children were hospitalized.
