Fear of Communism Caused the Vietnam War

Many names refer to the Vietnam War, and one of the longer wars is "the cornerstone of Southeast Asia in the Free World". Called by John F. Kennedy. He speaks Vietnam as a country that must be a non-communist world. He believes that, if Vietnam becomes a communist country, all neighboring countries will become communists as well. This is the main reason why the United States participated in the Vietnam War. Another reason is that America wants to spread their "political thinking" globally.

Vietnam war is increasingly involved in the Vietnam War, mainly due to the fear of domino theory and the spread of communism. When South Vietnam falls into the Communist Party, America is worried that communism will spread to Asia and its neighboring countries. The influence of the former president is another big reason why the United States is more involved in Vietnam. However, I emphasize the fact that "if the French did not leave, America would not be involved in Vietnam at all".

The Vietnam War was one of the most serious wars in American history. The reason why the United States was involved is that Communism started in North Vietnam. Citizens in southern Vietnam are concerned about the control of North Vietnam and are afraid that the north will dominate the south. The Communist Party of North Vietnam was supported by the Soviet Union and China, and the people of South Vietnam became vulnerable to North Korea. During their struggle, people in South Vietnam were able to receive assistance from the United States of America.

North Vietnam is under the Communist Party regime, so South Vietnam does not. Ho Chi Minh, the leader of North Vietnam, hopes to spread Communism throughout Vietnam and unify North Vietnam and South Vietnam. South Vietnamese leaders oppose the expansion of communism. America stands on the side of South Vietnam and puts war on different levels (Hagopian 73). Therefore, there are three main reasons for the Vietnam War. The Vietnam War had a major impact on the lives of Americans, including all fields of public and private life. As a result of the military conflict, the foreign policy of the United States changed greatly. The United States is considered to be the world's most powerful superpower, but the president's decision to settle the conflict in Vietnam will have some negative impact.
