Fat is an important part of our diet; it is one of the nutrients that make up the food we eat. Fat is one of the most energy-rich sources. One gram of fat is equivalent to 9000 calories. They are insoluble in water. They are a mixture of lipids and fat-soluble vitamins. Our diet must contain fat, but too much will affect your health.

Fat has a lot of responsibility in our body. Most people are aware that they improve the taste of food and promote digestion. Fat provides energy to the body. There are different kinds of fat that function in different ways. The main types of fat are saturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, monounsaturated fat and trans fat. Some of them are good and some are bad. Normally, bad fat tends to raise blood cholesterol level, especially LDL cholesterol, so it is saturated fat, but it leads to an increase in heart disease, but in order to properly adjust the growth factors of cells and organs, Is required. It is also an excellent energy source

Polyunsaturated fats have both good and bad aspects. The advantage of polyunsaturated fats is that they contain essential fatty acids necessary for maintaining health. Replacing saturated fats with polyunsaturated fats (even just a few times) can lower total cholesterol by lowering LDL cholesterol levels. The downside of polyunsaturated fats is that they are susceptible to free radical reactions during oxidation. This is very harmful to your health.

Monounsaturated fats help reduce total cholesterol levels and low density lipoprotein cholesterol levels. They can also raise your HDL cholesterol value. Some oils, such as olive oil and rapeseed oil, are rich in monounsaturated fats and are less saturated.
