Fate’s Puppetry

"Fate's Puppetry" is by Homer, a project on The Odyssey by Kenneth Meyerson. This project aims to better understand the destiny of powerful characters in the world and how humans are affected by destiny. In the story of "Odyssey", the gods are not affected by fate, they are witnesses. Some gods are actively trying to help those affected by destiny, but God's help is usually useless. What is fate, and how do fate affect human life? Furthermore, the influence of the gods on human destiny.

The word "puppet" comes from the shadow of Indonesia. Wayang Kulit is a digital shadow puppet made of buffalo leather is considered to be the oldest form of independent puppet; the earliest mention dates back to the 800's. During the reign of King Erlanga (1035-1049), the court poet wrote: "Some people are crying, sad, and seeing puppets, like the people who live in the fantasy world, they are unaware that the magical illusion they see is not real." 1

India is said to be the home of puppet art. The first part about puppet theater can be found in Silappadikaaram, Tamil literary classics written over 2000 years ago. In yoga, the body is called the five elements of soil, water, fire, air, and the universe, the whole existence is seen as a puppet show of these five elements. For thousands of years, puppetry has been deeply rooted in Indian lifestyle. Karaikal Kalaimamani Kesavasamy is one of India's most famous puppetry writers. Retired principal and puppetry author made his puppet show and set it for myself. In the 1950s, the Chinese government plowed traditional dolls and shadows based on artistic ideas skilfully made by Yan'an Chairman Mao Tse. In 1955, the first national shadow puppet show was held in Beijing. I participated in 31 excellent shadow puppet theater companies including 13 states and more than 180 members from the city. This incident caused sensations throughout the country. Since then, shadow puppet players from the traditional opera style to contemporary theatrical productions, and three of the shadow performance for the development of children's drama and a musical in "education and fun" have been done.
