Farce and Satire in Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors Essays

Shakespeare is not interested in local satire. However, there is some evidence that comedy rules and practices in the Shakespeare era are loose. In the Shakespeare plays' various seasonal title pages, the general categories are shown to be difficult and not fast. The quadrupled version of Love Zla Bose Lost (1598) declared it a "fun hidden comedy" and Quartettaming claimed that it was "comedy and comedy comedy". However, the Venetian merchant's title page (1600) calls it "the best history of Venezia merchants"
