Between July 2 and 13, 2008, the administrator of this site deleted three articles published by Laura Hale on the "Fanfic Symposium" Web site. This deletion may be related to controversy and fanaticism about the fan history wiki that got fierce in the summer of 2008.

Since August 2003, several papers have been discussed on the Fanfic Symposium Live Journal page.
