Family Structures Throughout Time

As a social unit, the family system is more individualized and has an adverse effect on the future society. From the 1930s to the present, families collapsed into more and more single units. Families in the 1930s were thought of as children who love their fathers, wives, and housewives who support their families. However, at the dawn of the Great Depression people understood that their family composition has not changed. My husband went out to find a job and my wife was at home and bothered children.

One area of ​​particular concern is the dynamics of American families. When talking about my family in this article, I mean the structure of the nuclear family. The Oxford English Dictionary defines nuclear families as follows. "A basic family group, usually including fathers, mothers, and their dependents, is considered a social unit." As a result, the family is a "safe haven, intimacy, love, trusted place" (Zinn & Eitzen, 2002, p. 7). For the purpose of this article, this is the image of the family I am mentioning. Therefore, "Families are the subject of socialization, which is the main source of influence behind character formation and child's growth" (Macionis, 2011, p. 112).

The structure of the family is the foundation of American society. Traditional family composition, two homosexuals, biological parents of married children are the most historical family composition. However, this structure has changed into various forms, such as a parent, a gay parent, a parent nurturing a child. The most common modern transformation among traditional families is a single parent family. - A traditional family consists of a father, a mother, two children, a man, a woman, a pet, and a house with a white fence. Dad goes to work, her mother is at home, takes care of the child, and does the housework. It sounds simple, but the reason why it sounds pretty simple is that if people have something else, they are highly judged to be punished or dissatisfied. This is the revival of society at the time. The family structure of Australian society is diverse. Family types include nuclear families, and Cheal (3 pages, 2002) also explains the nuclear family as a "traditional" family of two generations of families, mothers and fathers, and brothers and sisters. This model includes large parents, large families of uncle and aunt, and cousins ​​who live in their own independent families (Australia, 2005). Industrialization, modernization and secularization had a major impact on the family life and family formation in Australia. Independence of more individuals away from government perceptions of religious restrictions and other family arrangements allows individuals to choose more personalized lifestyles to achieve self-fulfillment.
