What is a factory farm? It is terrible to do what the factory farm does. People may not know this, but factory farms have various effects on many aspects of daily life. The factory farm affects animals, the world's population, and the environment. These industrial farms are causing controversy to many groups and many people. There are several types of factory farms and more viable farming methods. The factory ranch is defined as "a large-scale industrialized intensive agricultural system that emphasizes maintenance of indoor animals and limitation of liquidity benefits" (factory cultivation).

I will take up factory agriculture as an example. Industrial agriculture is related to scale. On a typical factory farm, livestock is characterized by typical industrial plants. To maximize yield, animals breed in a small space. When they become food they go through the "processing" system from birth to end. The government calls these facilities centralized or restricted animal husbandry, CAFO for short. This is no longer a typical picture book farm, a green meadow, and a red barn in American myths. In fact, according to CAFO definition of the US Environmental Protection Agency, "There is no grass or other vegetation in restricted areas during normal growing season" (Source)

Factory agriculture is related to the cruel and unfair treatment of animals and few people actually support the farm as there are no other people that adversely affect health or the environment. . Because the factory farm is the most popular agriculture, the agricultural industry is being phased out. "... In the USA, now only 3% of the farms produce amazingly 62% of the country's agricultural output" (Farrell). The agricultural industry is predominant and the factory farm gradually takes over the traditional agricultural methods. There are many reasons why supporters of factory farms consider factory farms to be beneficial.
