In my English class this week, I read F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story "Winter's Dream" first published in Metropolitan Journal in December 1922. Until this story, I do not know if I have read the document throughout my school education experience, but I fell in love. But I can not say with confidence that I fell in love with a literary work like a winter dream. I am confused with light and color, it feels like swimming in a world full of passion and magic. When I finish the last three sentences, (I can not cry, I do not mind, that will never come back to me again.) I will pant. I looked up at the reading bag my teacher gave me and caught a glimpse of the fluorescence cooling class to see if there was anyone else who feels something similar to my situation. But it is still silent. Heads escaped, earplugs entered, some people curled up and fell asleep with their arms folded.

F. Scott Fitzgerald 's short story "Winter Dream" and his work "The Great Gatsby" have many similarities between the two stories. In "Winter Dream", a young caddy named Dexter met the beautiful rich he saw many years ago. Dexter exaggerated wealth and impressed her. But she married a very wealthy and abusive husband. She was abused and unattractive, and Dexter lost all her hopes of regaining her. "The Great Gatsby" is a story about Jay Gatsby, acquired through diligent and illegal activities, rather than born of assets. He is anxious to integrate with his wealthy community to recover his love, Daisy who died Tom years ago. He is a wealthy and powerful man. Gatsby thinks Daisy does not like Tom, but she prefers only Tom's mature wealth. When Gatsby almost recovered his love, she discovered that Gatsby illegally acquired his wealth.

"Winter Dream" is a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald first appeared in Metropolitan magazine in December 1922 and published in All the Sad Young Men in 1926. It is thought to be one of the most exciting stories of Fitzgerald and is often chosen. In the classic of Fitzgerald, many of its themes were later expanded in his famous novel "Great Gatsby" in 1925, so it is considered to be in the "Gatsby cluster".
