What I would like to try and fix in high school is that there is no extended school activity during the day to improve the literacy rate of the students who are having difficulties. Since our school has stagnated the test results from our state standardization test over the past few years, we have taken measures to help all suffering students achieve their skilled graduation level It is necessary to take measures. The curriculum of our school already has a course to improve reading comprehension. Read 180 courses for genuine low level reading students on our campus and we designed students to compensate for work or give time to get special help for all educational courses There is a week called SET time.
Through family literacy programs, parents acquire the skills necessary to learn to read at home, extend vocabulary, prepare school, and achieve high grades. Even Start is a family literacy program that extends childhood services, literacy training, child rearing training, and English language education to many low-level families and English-speaking parents who do not receive high school education. Even Start supports intergenerational literacy program combining early childhood education and literacy training.
Regardless of the level of language, education, literacy rate, all parents can improve their literacy rate for their children. Parents who speak little or no English can contribute to the education of their children in precious ways. English learners can acquire solid literacy skills from the first language before learning the second language. Through Spanish, they are developing important languages and literacy skills that will enable them to become excellent English readers.
• There is a big debate about when it takes to provide read / write instructions in language 1 (L1) and when to convert to language 2 (L2) as instruction medium. However, research shows that the value of L1 literacy and language education can be expanded even in elementary schools, if possible. • Scripting courses provide necessary assistance. This is particularly important for untrained and trained teachers in conflict and crisis situations. But there is a healthy debate about the sustainability and cost effectiveness of the strategy and how much the teacher relocates the program model to other areas.
A small number of schools and school districts change or extend the grade level nationwide. The Massachusetts 2020 Initiative provided resources to increase the number of days of education provided by dozens of schools from 180 to about 200. Other examples include lower grade schools that extend school hours to extend school days, and longer school days, weeks, and years for some charter schools. However, these initiatives are still rare and teaching time does not bring systematic changes to American students. Our work confirms that increasing teaching time can have a great positive impact on learning outcomes. Schools and school districts are encouraged to see the school's calendar as a tool to improve academic performance and should be encouraged from the point of view of words and policies.
