Exploring William Moebius' Article "Introduction to Picture Book Codes" and How it Relates to Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are"

William Mebius wrote several methods that can be used to explain the obvious relationship between picture text and picture in his article "Introduction to picture book code". He pointed out that there are five different codes available for analyzing text and images. The code is as follows. Code position, size and reduction, perspective code, frame and right and round code, line and capillary code, and color code.

It is the most translated novel in Czech literature.
