Martin Waldseemüller's 1516 Carta Marina tried to introduce the latest concepts of the world at that time. Like his 1507 map, the Carta Marina is considerably better than the initial map on artistic details, perhaps reflecting the hands of the artist Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528). It contains geographical information that is greatly magnified and modified. Cartama Marina can be regarded as the first printed voyage diagram of the whole world. However, due to some of his controversy over the early naming of "America" in the Western Hemisphere, Waldseemüller omitted the words of Cartama Marina and showed that North America is related to Asia .
The map of Waldseemüller or Universis Cosmographia ("Universal Cosmography") is the wallmap of the world prints of the German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller originally published in April 1507. It is called the first map using the name "America". The name of the United States is displayed on the main map and is now called South America. As Cosmographiae Introductionctio explained, the name is to commemorate Italy's Amerigo Vespucci. Waldseemüller also created a globe, printed map designed to cut and paste into spheres to form the earth on the earth. The wall map and the earth in his same era draw two parts of the Americas. These depictions differ from the boundaries on the wall map, two American continents connected by the strait.
In 1507, Martin Waldseemüller created a world map, after which he named the Vespucci's Latin version for women as the new American continent, Americus. Among the accompanying books, Waldseemüller published a Vespucci story that caused criticism that Vespucci tried to destroy the glory of Christopher Columbus. However, as Vespucci rediscovered other letters in the eighteenth century, the view was that there was the possibility that other people, rather than Vespucci, could produce early publications, especially Sodini's letters.
Who is still controversial about it: Amerigo Vespucci or Christopher Columbus. History shows history that Italy explorer Amerigo Vespucci discovered a new land in 1497 and Martin Waldseemüller (famous cartographer) named it after Vespucci. However, recent evidence suggests that Columbus discovered this unknown land in 1492. Many historians also believe that a famous Chinese explorer, Chen Hao, might have discovered the United States about 70 years ago Columbus. There may be intense debate as to who discovered America and when it was discovered but since the discovery it is clear that the trade and shipping industry is growing rapidly and some European forces are in the United States I made it for them.
Map of the United States. Martin Waldseemüller. Geographiae Opus Novissima Traductione ... Strasbourg, 1513. The map of the United States first appeared in the map of Ptolemy created in 1513 Strasbourg version, including a series of new maps based on recent European exploration results. Martin Waldseemüller of St.Dié started researching this new version of Ptolemy in 1505 and created a map. Columbus thinks that it is the existence of Isabelle and Fernando, in this work, the United States remains "Thierline cognita". (Geographical map station)
